Founded in 1887, closed and without activity since the 1990s, Grémio Operário was home, stage and rehearsal room for glorious and famous names of Coimbra's culture such as Zeca Afonso and the Bonifrates cooperative. Once known for its dance parties and cultural promotion among the working class, it was reborn in 2021 at the hands of the Associação Cultural Recreativa e Memória Grémio Operário de Coimbra, which invited us to develop a visual identity. This is the new face of Grémio Operário, based on very old motifs, from the typographic style of the dozens of commemorative plaques that we find there to the colors of its humble and beautiful stage that provided and witnessed an infinity of stories and experiences that we still feel today, hovering up in the air.
